This notice explains how the ORFeus Doctoral Network handles personal data collected through this website, orfeus-dn.eu. ORFeus is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Network funded by the European Union under Horizon Europe (Grant Agreement No. 101309891).

Visiting the website. When you visit this site, the web server automatically records technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you requested and the time of your visit. We use this only to keep the site secure and working. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes and then deleted.
Contacting us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, subject and message. We use this only to answer you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to questions (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete messages 12 months after the conversation ends, unless they need to be kept as part of the project’s official records.
Applying for a position. Applications are not submitted on this website. The Apply button takes you to our recruitment platform, Teamtailor (orfeusresearch.teamtailor.com), where a separate recruitment privacy notice explains how your application is handled, who can see it, and how long it is kept. Please read it before you apply.
People pages. Names, roles, institutions and photos of ORFeus researchers, supervisors and advisers are published with their consent. Anyone listed can ask for their details to be changed or removed at any time by emailing info@orfeus-dn.eu.
This website does not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, and does not show a cookie banner because none is needed.
The typefaces on this website are provided by Adobe Fonts. To display them, your browser connects to Adobe’s servers, which receive your IP address. Adobe Fonts does not set cookies and does not use this data to build profiles. Adobe may process this data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
