Today is the day! ORFeus officially starts, and recruitment for all fifteen doctoral researcher positions is now open.
We are looking for curious, ambitious researchers with a background in areas such as computational biology, proteomics, genomics, immunology, or a related field. You do not need experience in all of them. The program is designed to train you across disciplines. What matters is that you are motivated to work at the frontier of an emerging field, ready to take on a real scientific challenge, and excited to be part of a collaborative European network.
Each position is a fully funded, 36-month doctoral contract at one of fifteen leading institutions across the Netherlands, the UK, Germany, Belgium, Ireland, Norway, Spain and Switzerland. You will be supervised by at least two academic mentors and an industry partner, attend residential training schools and workshops with your cohort, and spend three months on secondment at one of our twelve partner organizations.
